Inspired by the iconic intersection of 57th Street and 7th Avenue in New York City—the home of Carnegie Hall—our name reflects the timeless elegance, grandeur, and cultural significance that Andrew Carnegie’s legacy represents.

Arpan Gupta’s journey has been anything but conventional. A high school valedictorian, Eagle Scout, and one of just ten students selected for the Rice-Baylor Medical Scholars program, he was guided early on by a deep respect for learning, service, and excellence. After earning his doctorate in medicine and joining the Residency program at Baylor College of Medicine, Arpan made a pivotal choice in 2009—to step away from medicine and pursue his true passion: building extraordinary homes. A Graduate Master Builder (GMB), he brings the same rigor and dedication to construction that once defined his medical training.

What began with Arpan acting as his own sales agent, superintendent, and project manager has grown into Fifty Seventh & 7th Luxury Homes, a nationally recognized builder known for award-winning design and craftsmanship. His medical training instilled a methodical, detail-driven mindset that now defines his approach to construction. “My background, where striving for precision is critical, allows us to bring a different perspective to building,” he explains. “Every decision is guided by a commitment to excellence and to creating flawless, personalized designs.”
Under Arpan’s leadership, Fifty Seventh & 7th has become a benchmark for design innovation, seamlessly combining clean lines, luxurious materials, and timeless sophistication. He and his team collaborate closely with top architects, designers, and global artisans, examining every dimension with intention and anticipating challenges like a chess match to ensure each project progresses flawlessly. Over time, the company has built a trusted network of trades, developed a curated library of proven designs, and maintained an unwavering commitment to quality over cost.
For Arpan, building is more than construction—it is an art form. That vision has earned the firm national recognition, including multiple gold and silver wins at the 2025 NAHB Awards, four top honors at the 2025 Texas Association of Builders Awards, the 2025 LUXE Interiors + Design RED Award for excellence in interior architecture and innovation, and the 2024 & 2025 GHBA PRISM Grand Award for Custom Builder of the Year, alongside accolades across a wide range of design categories.
